Preggers Friendly Style: Nordstrom After Christmas Sale

I hope everyone had a merry, merry Christmas! I know we did here in SC!

Now that I'm almost at the six month mark in my pregnancy (two more days, eek!), I'm finding it harder and harder to stick to my normal, everyday clothes - hello maternity jeans and cinched waisted shirts! Yet when the Nordstrom after Christmas sale rolled around today and I saw Ebates was offering 9% cash back, I couldn't help but take a peek.

Here are some of my favorite finds that are preggers friendly...

This Lilly dress at only $39 is such a steal and I'm loving wearing this style dress during and after pregnancy. There's SO many other great Lilly finds under $100 too!
This Tory Burch shirtdress is flowy and would be adorable with maternity leggings. Did I mention it is also 60% off...
$179.98
Coats are always a great buy because they can be worn open front and are great for after the pregnancy. I also love ones that have a tie around the waist, always so flattering.
$795.98
While I know we all would love the Burberry above, this MICHAEL Michael Kors one is affordable and cute as well at only $105.
This Trina Turk poncho is chic and would be great for a preggers belly.
$246.90
I love the collar and tie back on this Burberry Brit top and bet it would last you a little while before the bump gets large and in charge.
$147.49
This Kensie top at only $27 is super cute.
Although summery, I can't get over the back of this Trina Turk which leaves plenty of bump room.
$45.60
There's only L left in stock, but this Beyond Yoga maternity tank is perfect for prenatal yoga class. There's also the blue option which I love that has a few more sizes in stock.
$50.25
$52.93
Yoga pants are a preggers lady's BFF and I love the purple color of these Beyond Yoga capris.
$51.59
There's a few Topshop maternity pieces and at $23 I love this ruffly camisole.
$23.97
If you're feeling sassy, check out these adorbs polka dot skinny jeans from Lilac. They also come in white, which I may be adding to my cart.
$65.66
I've been looking for a casual, comfy pair of shoes and love this pair of New Balance tennies that are on sale now.
$59.90
And of course, I just couldn't resist checking out the baby girl section, here are some of my favorite finds!
Boden Play Set, $32.16
Boden Jersey Dress, $28.14
Boden Overalls, $29.48
Boden Fox Jacket, $34.17
Fair Isle Sweater, $32.16
VA Onesie, $11.98
Stuart Weitzman, $26.88
Robeez Bootie, $25.42
So what did you pick up from some of the after Christmas sales? Did I miss anything?!

Gender Reveal Tacky Christmas Party!

Ryan and I love getting into the Christmas cheer and who doesn't love a tacky Christmas party?! So when we realized we would find out Baby's gender the day before we were looking at throwing a party, we decided to make it a joint celebration. Tacky Christmas and gender reveal may seem like a funny combo, but in the end it all came together and was so fun!

Ok, enough about that! On to the big news! We're SO excited to announce that Baby Phillips is a...
GIRL!!!

It was so exciting to share the news with family and friends and also to finally start putting some type of identity with our little one. Saying "she" sure beats "it"!

For the announcement we stuck with the Christmas theme and had everyone vote Team "B" or Team "G" by hanging an ornament on the tree and writing their vote.
Then we wrapped pink polka dotted balloons in a giant box, just putting paper over the top so we could burst in and have the balloons float out. It was so exciting!
After that we all celebrated in our tacky Christmas garb! I'm still kicking myself though that I didn't get a group photo because everyone looked FAB!! The only pic I did manage to get was with my sister who had the most perfect Cindy Lou Who hair (my mom did this with a solo cup).
I'm so glad I had my sister and Mom here, for obvious reasons, but also because they were such amazing bakers and chefs and cleaners and decorators and everything all day. I mean, look at this festive spread...
We did crock pot hot chocolate with flavored marshmallows, a snowman cheeseball, my favorite easy feta dip and pigs in a blanket for snacks.
For the dessert table we did snowmen  donuts, chocolate dipped pretzel sticks, spritz cookies (I omit the almond extract and just use more vanilla) and brownie bites, nomnomnom!
Even the bar got a little tacky with sweaters, bowties and scarves!
Ryan also made the most delish white chicken chili and our favorite bacon fat cornbread from Husk. It went so fast, I didn't even get a pic!

We also had our Christmas decor in full swing! I love decorating for this time of year!
(How cute and easy is this "Nuts", "No Nuts" idea!)
What a fun night! Our little growing family is feeling so blessed and thankful for the over 30 friends that came out last night to celebrate with us! WE LOVE YOU ALL SO BIG!
