I hope everyone had an awesome 4th of July! We had a super low-key weekend that was full of organizing and packing for our upcoming move. We decided to take a break though on Monday and pop over to Catherine and Will's house for an amazing homemade BBQ dinner. It was such a nice break, we're going to miss them so much!
Y'all know I've been catching up for awhile here from a really busy spring, so today I'm super excited to share some tid bits from one of my BFFs weddings at the Country Club of Charleston (+ see her bach party in NYC here). And if you didn't notice form the title of this post, she has THE best wedding hashtags ever since her new name is Mary Chappell - #goingtotheChappell #gonnagetMaryed.
We rushed down from Greenville after attending another one of my friend's weddings (see that recap here) and made it in plenty of time. I was able to get ready with the rest of the bridesmaids and have a little time beforehand with the bride.
Sam and I even snuck away to cheers to our roomie getting married and take a couple funny pics! How great are these shots from Mary and Matt's photographer Kent Krebeck Studio?!
Then it was wedding time and down the aisle we went! The setting was absolutely gorgeous outside under a magnificent tree on the water. The weather could not have been any more perfect either, it was such a special and beautiful day. Again, these preview photos from Kent are great, I can't wait to see them all!
Now it was time to party and quite a party it was! I have almost zero photos since I was too busy boogieing down, but here are some I scraped up from other folks ;).
Our dapper gents right after Mary and Matt said "I Do"!
Getting introduced as we walk into the reception!
This lady is next! Although, groom not pictured, we're just having a great time with Jake from the state of Oregon.
We all rented an adorable place in Folly together and went back there to enjoy the rest of our night with the whole crew (minus Mary of course). In the morning we grabbed brunch at Virginia's on King and had a quick minute on King Street before heading back to Greenville. Little did we know that we would be moving here just two months later!
We had such a blast, I wish we could go back and do it all over again! Now I'm just looking forward to our annual Clemson weekend to see all my people again. Oh and did I mention that Mary and Matt got married on our five year anniversary so now we have something to celebrate together for many years to come!
Who else has a crazy amount of weddings this year?!
