Nursery Inspiration Board

I'm officially in the crazy pregnant lady nesting phase (sorry hubs). I have a lot of grand plans for our little girl's nursery, even though I know she'll be bedside in our room for quite awhile in the beginning.

While thinking through what little miss's nursery should look like, I quickly found that I'm really NOT into all the pastels, flowers, rainbows, overly glitzy, girlie rooms and baby items. And I hate butterflies, why do I hate butterfly designs with a passion?! That considered, I started designing a more sophisticated, but fun room. I also wanted to be careful not to go overly girlie in case there's a little man in our future too.

So drumroll please, here's my inspiration board for our little girl's room...
Left paint color, Martha Stewart "Peony" / Right paint color, Sherwin Williams "Accessible Beige" / Ceiling Light / TasselsGiraffe / Garden Stool / Crib / Lamp / Banana leaf plant from Home Depot / Ikat fabric (similar) / Rug / Rocker / Moroccan Pouf
Spoiler alert, the coral paint color on the left is actually for the CEILING! I want to keep the nursery overall neutral, but had to add a little funk with the colored ceiling. We already have the Accessible Beige paint, so I think I'm going to try to make that work for the walls.

It all started with the crib which we found on sale at Pottery Barn Kids even before we knew the gender. I loved the grey and also that this one was super simple, sturdy, adjustable and converts into a toddler bed. Oh and I cried when we were in the store, gotta love pregnancy hormones! Ryan thought it was funny and took pictures of me.
Then my amazing MIL gifted us the giraffe when we found it on sale on Black Friday, I'm so in love with this guy! I also already have the rug and Ikat fabric. I found the rug on Craigslist for super cheap compared to any at the large size I was looking for online. The Ikat fabric I got for $2.50 at a local decorating outlet, I'll use this to curtain off a built-in that we'll use for a changing table.

To give you an idea of the room we're transforming, here are some "before" pics with some of the items already in the room (apologize for the horrible lighting, ugh). Don't mind the mess either, I'm still unpacking this already spoiled little girl's gifts!
(this built-in will function as her changing table and I'll curtain off the bottom to hide diapers, etc.)
Because I can't resist sharing all the amazingness of others that inspired this room, check out more rooms like the below that I saved on my Pinterest board.

Here's where I need your help, I've still yet to find the glider (which, omg, can't believe how expensive these things are), moroccan pouf, light for the ceiling and garden stool at reasonable prices. If you have suggestions of where to search, please send them my way!

Let me know what you think!!
