Charleston Wedding at The Cotton Dock (Boone Hall Plantation)

Y'all know I get super jazzed about all things pretty, party and South Carolina Lowcountry. Well, today I'm so excited to bring you this gorgeous wedding that's all that and more. I'm just going to tell you now, this post is going to be long, but trust me when I say you won't want it to end!

Josh and Liz are two of our great friends and their wedding was just as beautiful as the two of them are inside and out. Ryan met Josh while obtaining his Clemson MBA in Greenville, SC and the two, plus a few others in their rowdy crew, became fast friends.

I'll never forget meeting Liz when she and Josh first started dating. We went on a double sushi date in downtown Greenville and I was immediately struck with how sweet and caring she was. Not going to lie, I couldn't help but wonder how in the heck Josh landed such an awesome girl haha!

Fast forward to the most perfect June day in Charleston, SC and while we all might have still been wondering how Josh managed to snag Liz, the immense love in the French Huguenot Church that day was apparent.

After a beautiful ceremony, the entire wedding boarded the trolleys over to Mount Pleasant to the most gorgeous location, the Cotton Dock at Boone Hall Plantation. Coming down the tree lined drive automatically gives you a sense of southern sophistication, plus you can't help but feel like you are in the Notebook (it was the site for Allie's summer home after all).

Not a single detail was spared - from the Gullah music when you entered, to the curated cocktails, to the sushi bar, southern food, live band and oh so much more.
We even took a little opportunity to sneak away for a minute to snap some photos together (thank you Travis!).

After that, time was a blur and we slipped right into a night full of dancing and great music! Clearly my husband had a great time ;)...

If you couldn't tell, it was such an amazing day and night full of fun and celebration. Liz's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rollison, did a phenomenal job and we feel so blessed to have been a part of it all!
